Malayka Shirazi

Communication consultant, researcher, writer, filmmaker and graphic design artist with an experience of 10 years trying to find resonance in little things that bear the possibility of solving big problems. I like working on the climate crisis, sustainable ecosystems, wildlife and biodiversity, smells and ecology, ecofeminism, queerness and multilinguality in the subcontinent, studying all the curious things that make our world more interesting, more colourful. Often called the Swiss-knife of my workplace.

In writing and editing, I try to find relevance and resonance in little things that bear the possibility of solving big problems. I write about queerness, muslim-ness, multi-linguality, smells, fanfiction, feminism, sustainability, sometimes pigeons, and all the curious things that make someone pick up a pen.

In design, and video production I offer a clean, engaging aesthetic befitting a brand’s identity and industry, and refined Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and Canva skills.
